I have the new Xbox 360 slim and I have had it since it cam out. I have never had any problems until now,the power box gets a red dot were the green dot is meant to be on the power box(orange when it is off). I think it is overheating but its in a well ventilated place. How do I fix this ?

you need to either buy a new power brick or your jtag is causing it to over heat-- simple soulution would to put a fan over top it

most likely it is your power brick, take some compressed air and spray it throgh the holes on the side of it, that worked for me. if you dont have compressed air then just blow it

The red dot on power brick is not overheating. It is simply a fault power brick or a shortage.

Make sure all the cables are plugged in good, if it still does that. You might have to take apart and clean your xbox 360.
