Now I dont mean the botted lobbies or the hacks and shit...I mean just going online every few games or so and getting headshots? like I find it hard to believe you can get banned for that

Yes, every game disallows boosting. If you don't get why then ill tell you. Boosting is a form of cheating to get your stats increasedd. No game creator likes cheating so they disallow it.
If you were boosting in black ops 2, you would be temp banned and deranked. If it was mw2 you won't be banned because the fact that it is an old game. Although, there wouldn't be many people boosting on mw2 for the fact that it is filled with modders like so. I suggest you to get a 10th prestige lobby instead of boosting on mw2. Hope I helped

Yeah, You can actually. Treyarch says you can not 'Boost.'
1st Time getting caught boosting will get you deranked & banned for 1-3 days.
2cd Time getting caught boosting will get you banned for a week
& 3rd Time getting caught boosting will get you permanently banned from playing bo 2 multiplayer.
