So i've been thinking about after-life, heaven and hell and stuff and when i was thinking about heaven, what will you look like? what will you get to do? will you sleep and eat ect?

What do you think will happen if you go to heaven?

I don't quite know if I believe in any sort of after life but picturing heaven I'd assume it'd be a model of you in your peak time period. IDK.

It's quite strange to think about, especially if you are not religious.

I'm not religious but heaven is supposed to be like paradise.
So I'm assuming that if it exists, you would look like how you liked the most and sleep, eating, etc. wouldn't be required.
If anything it would be a choice and a luxury up to you.

Not a lot of Christians know this but, there's 3 Heavens.

The first; The Firmament, the Sky, clouds and birds.
The second; Where the stars, Sun and Moon are.
The third; Where God and his alter ego, Jesus, live among dead martyrs and Saints.

In the Bible, Elijah was taken up to the third heaven and John of Patmos, writer of Revelations, claimed he saw Heaven through an open door.

Really, Heaven is indescribable, John of Patmos' recollection may or may not be accurate, so don't base your belief on it, he was known to be quite a strange writer.
However, there are some parts of the scriptures that give a little insight.
Everything else you've heard is simply speculation that cannot be proven Biblically or physically and is most likely just theological propaganda created by the Church to try and convert people.

Here's some of what the Bible says about it though;

Angels from the third heaven chant "Holy, Holy, Holy" over the throne of God and through the Heavens, John described them as beasts with many eyes and six wings. Nice.

John gives the best description of Heaven as he basically says that it is Jerusalem but made of solid gold and that it is 'precious like a Jewel' and he also describes a 'Great Mountain'.
He says that Jerusalem has a 200 foot thick wall with 12 gates, 12 angels on each gate and it has the names of the 12 tribes of Israel inscribed on each gate.
The city has 12 foundations all with names of each 12 apostles on them.
The angel that John walked with had a huge measuring stick made of Gold o.O
The city is measured to be 1,400 miles long, wide and tall.
No temples in the city because the only temple is God's.
No night time because the light of God outshines the sun.

The thing I find rather eerie is, why would it need a 200 foot thick wall? >_>

Sorry for the long post.

There's no sense in discussing your fantasy world that doesn't exist. Stop asking the wrong questions. You question what will happen when you get to this place, but you don't even question its existence. You don't even question what even happens when you die.

I'm atheist, that doesn't mean I can't be educated in theology.

Also, you've contradicted yourself.

I question what happens when people die, that's why I don't state it exists or doesn't exist, I simply believe that it doesn't exist.

You believe in finding proof and reasoning, so what proof does the bible have behind it to lead you to believe heaven and it's 3 sectors are real?
