I got my iPad only 2-3 months ago and today my iPad accidentally fell off the chair. It has a crack over the front camera although the camera is still usable. I didn't buy my iPad from the apple store so they wouldn't be able to do anything would they? It is still in warranty however I am contemplating taking it to a 3rd party repair store to fix it. Should I or Not?

You get 12 months warranty with it.

But a cracked screen aint a warranty repair.

Apple would be the best ones to fix it as its a sealed unit and they will use Apple parts.

3rd party could muck it up

This has happened to me multiple times due to my unlucky clumsiness. There's several methods that actually work. Ranging from sending it into Apple, or having a 3rd Party Repair Company. ^^... My method is the one that will cost the least. Go onto Amazon, eBay, Craigslist, any large retail company, etc... Buy an iPad screen, look onto YouTube for tuts that will show you how to replace it. That is all to it really. Hope I could've helped.
