So I woke up this morning quite tired. Enough that I fell back to sleep. I soon started dreaming but it started to get a bit nightmarish and I got lost so I thought I was telling myself to wake up to a point that I actually did.

Was this a lucid dream or not? I just think it's interesting

If you vividly remember the dream like it was reality and you had free will in the dream, then it was.

Try the subreddit r/luciddreaming I visit there almost everyday. They'll know what it is.
