so i want a laptop that i can record gameplay and play games like minecraft and maybe half life and portal 2. my price range is 400

get any type of apple product. I suggest a macbook! They run fast and can't get viruses

Anyway OP, for $400, I would get this.

The intel 4000 should place most games on at least low-medium.

-The Intel HD 4000 is a big mistake. I am using it right now.
-Start saving.
Also they do get viruses you complete idiot. Tell me this if you are programming a virus and want it to get viral are you going to give it to the people who use the most popular OS or not. My point is more people use Windows and it would be smarter to program it for Windows :facepalm:
Also for the price you could build your own gaming rig to play latest games and record like I did.
P.S. MacBook are not that good. I am in a call on Skype with someone who is using 1 right now.

btw its 400 in gbp so its a bit more than american $
