Well I really have wanted to start skating for a while now. Couple of my good buds go skating on the weekends and tell me that I should start too . So I recently bought a penny board . Any tips ? Just want a board to cruise not for tricks yet .

Don't use shoes that you care if they get scuffed up.

well if you really wanna start skateboarding buy a real board and not a penny one lol...

well since you have friends that are experienced they can teach you the basics

Actually, starting with a penny/longboard is pretty useful, I used to not be able to ride my skateboard, I got a longboard and penny board, then I hop back on my skateboard once I quit riding them and it's easy as hell.

I tried both . I find the penny one easier to use lol

It takes a while to get good I used to skate but got into gaming and Moto but I still have friends that do it. Just buy a real board make sure it light they are easier to learn on and they get more pop. Just keep trying and you'll be the next tony hawk eventually lol

Make sure your boadr has rough cript tape to start off with and dont be afraid to get cuts and bruises...
