Stereotypical views by someone that has no clue of traveller life

All the gypknacks I've come across are scruffy b@stards and park their caravans somewhere they aren't allowed and are just a pain in the @ss.

You would think with the name traveller that these people would be on the move but in most cases nothing could be further from the truth..,They camp in areas where they know they are not allowed and when they do finally move on they leave an awlful mess that we the tax payers have to pay for.
Dont get me wrong .. as a community i have alot of respect for them ,They stick together and fight for what they believe in very well (something the rest of us should do) but at the same time they ostracise themselves by bucking the system .. not paying any taxes .. stealing anything that isn't nailed down .. and being a general pain in the rear to anybody that lives anywhere near where they are staying .
Im sorry if this offends ,But you did ask why we dont like travellers.

I had a couple of traveler friends in my primary school and I thought they were awesome. I still know one of them to this day.

But, around my area where I live, travelers live near a shop and they rob, cause trouble and cause fights. Some travelers aren't bad people but the ones that live in my area are.

It's the same story for every group of people ..,Those that are bad give the rest a bad name lol and when it comes to the Irish gypsies there are quite a few that are bad.
