I do think it is kind of cheesy for it to be called that but we don't know the real name yet.

I'm sure Microsoft confirmed sometime last year that the new Xbox will not be named the Xbox 720. Even if it is called the 720 is it really that important? People aren't exactly going to not buy it because of the name.
