This is a very common question,
If you die in your dream, do you die in reality?
Because when your dreaming and you fall of a building you always wake up before you die (if that's whats happening), like falling off a building, you never hit the bottom.
I have no idea what would happen if you died in your dream, i think there is a possibility you could die in reality,
What do you guys think?

This is all about mind over matter.
If your dream is vivid enough then it could possibly have a placebo effect on your body and cause death.
However, I don't agree with this at all, it seems very far fetched and unrealistic that physical bodily functions could shut down simply because of an unconscious vision.
That's just my opinion though, nothing on this subject is concrete fact yet.

But what if, say you're falling off a building and you die, that you die of shock, i had a dream the other night that i was falling from a very tall building, and woke up mid-fall, my heart was pounding and adrenaline had kicked in, what if you hit the ground and shock took over?

In that case, and this is at a very big stretch perhaps it's possible that you could die if you were somewhat unhealthy or had a weak heart?

I have heard that if you fall from a great height and you fall to the very bottom, your heart stops because you panicked so much. Dreams can be very powerful. One time I had a dream where my dad threw a football at my face and as soon as it hit me in my dream, I woke up and actually felt like someone just threw a ball at me.

Yes, i agree it could happen if their heart was weak and they couldn't deal with the rush, but you know when healthy people die of shock? like they can't breath because of shock, it could be possible that you're so shocked because you think you've died (in your dream) that they die of shock.

I have actually had a dream where I was in a car and crashed into a lake.
The lake was very deep and I died fully,it wasn't mid-drowning (at least I don't think it was) and I woke up sweating...
You are also going to die in real-life, eventually, but the chances of your dream actually causing your death in reality is very far-fetched...

But when you died in your dream, did you wake as soon as you died, or did you experience anything after?

As soon as I died, I woke up.
But did you die from a first person perspective? or third?
