Understandable, well pretty much anyone who is attention-seeking is annoying.

Yeah people who attention-seek are annoying.

Like the people who have brony usernames, pictures, colored names, mottos, and say things like "flutter on"? Oh you mean you! Not only that, then you make a topic about it?! Your post is so contradicting it's almost funny.

If you like a show that is originally made for 4 year old girls, more luck to you. However, flaunting such an infatuation in public or even on the internet sends off a terrible image. And don't act like you don't know why people hate bronies... because you know exactly why. The threads online are just a huge cirlejerk.

Let me throw a scenario at you. Let's say you are at a bar or club (y-you... you do know what those are right..?), and you are talking to a girl (y-you... you do know what a girl is right..?, and you say ANYTHING related to MLP or, God forbid, even utter the phrase "flutter on", what do you think will happen? Not only will you get laughed at relentlessly, but you would have to get facial surgery to even show your face in the place of business anymore.

I personally couldn't care less about Bronies. The only places of the internet they really "dwell" are absolute garbage anyways. It's like putting trash on trash. However, if I see someone in public having anything related to MLP, i'm going to laugh at them and there isn't thing they are going to do about it.

And like yay said, it has been awhile since one of these threads, which is why i even bothered posting.

1. Being a gold member doesn't make you "attention seeking"
2. I have been to a bar.
3. I have a girlfriend who also loves MLP. she actually got me into it.
4. Lastly, laugh at us all you want, honestly everyone knows the 4Chan Bronies, not the day-to-day Bronies.

I just find it very weird for a teenager or grown adult to have that much interest in My Little Pony. It's just weird.

Honestly? Never seen one episode or anything of it.. I just find it annoying why people use them as avatars or something because they're trying to be funny.. Like them old Spongebob Squarepants pictures..

People need to grow up a bit..

because half the people that watch it are attention seeking  .believe it or not most of us dont care what you watch but you along with half the rest of your pony squad annouce it to the world that they watch a tv show made for young children.Watch what you want just dont bombarde people with it.we dont parade around everywhere with our favorite shows forcing it down everyones throat.

oh and most bronies dont even watch the show its just trending now for some odd reason and everyone wants to hop on the bandwagon to fit in....i predict by the end of 2013 everyone will be talking about some other cartoon that kids are watching

I have nothing against guys liking MLP. Being overly flamboyant about it is when it gets irritating and annoying. I'm not telling you that you have to shelter the world from your love for MLP but when you insist on pestering people with it is when it gets obnoxious. Be proud to be who you are but don't make it seem like everyone is out to get you. That just makes you an attention whore, not a fan.

It gets a lot of hate because a lot of the Bronies just try to annoy people and so it gives you guys a bad rep. People flaunt it and show it off and just think its the funniest thing in the world to do. You can watch the show just don't try to smother everyone else into watching it.

Because its a show created for adolescent girls who still play with doll houses and have tea parties.

Here ill break it down for you, im really high and I think im up for it.

Ponies = gay, trans, etc etc in alot of peoples eyes.

a lot of gay people are attention seekers (read: who*e) and show it by talk with a made up lisp and wear gay pride wrist bands and such. You know who im talking about. (The stereotypical gay guy)

Now, You can watch ponies, the price is right, Asian asz porn WHATEVER.. but when you watch a show, specifically for little girls, then wear MLP shirts, backpack, create MLP account names on websites, make ponies your avatar etc etc. people assume you're gay, or weird. nobody can judge you for the weird shi* you do on your own. but when you specifically label yourself (lets say your a 30 yr old man, for ex.) with the same media that fathers your own age are buying for their kindergarten daughters then there's a problem..

do you at least get where i'm coming from? I don't mind gay people, but i fuc*ing hate gay people who talk with intentional lisps to signify that they are gay. I dont mind childrens shows, I watch adventure time and such (its made for my gender, so its a little different i guess.) but dont go around as a 30 year old wearing that kind of stuff, and then wonder why people fuc*ing hate you/think your gay/weird/pedo. You are like that motherfu**er who talks with a lisp, stop pretending you have no idea why people think your weird.

just my 2c

EDIT: seems like everyone else in the thread is picking up on what I was getting at.

TL:DR: Nobody wants to see you flaunt around ponies and other MLP references that make you look like a pedo. Its not that people hate MLP or think ONLY kids can watch it. Its just fuc*ing pathetic that a grown man chooses to label himself the same way as a 7 year old girl. Sure, you can wear whatever you want, but just know that everyone thinks you're pathetic i dont blame them, its kindof pedoish.
