hey, thanks for coming.
my xbox has this problem where it says open tray everytime i try to load any game or dvd, it only ever occasionly works if i hit the top of the console whilst the disc is loading.
Does anybody know a permanent or long time fix please, im getting pretty sick of hitting my xbox everytime i go on as it takes a long time for games to actually work.

Buy a new dvd drive for the xbox if its out of warrenty.
its not too hard to install a new one just swap the board from the old one to the new one if you dont feel like flashing your dvdkey to the new drive
