So I was just browsing the internet and I saw this.

My thoughts on this.
I am slightly annoyed by this as I am 16 and have been playing on console a pc since I was around 8 or 9 years old and almost never post pictures, facebook status' or what have you about what I play.
A lot of girls that DO game post crap, for example, I have female friends on facebook and a particular bunch think they are "hardcore gamers". Every so often there will be a wall post or status update saying "OMG I just found the Tomb Raiders pack on steam, life complete". Now the reason this annoys me is because females, at least I know, boast about being better at something than a guy is, such as gaming.
The reason I think this will be annoying is that a lot of females will start appearing on multiplayer games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, FIFA etc. which I am not bothered about. What I am bothered about is that since console gaming online is/was mainly filled with males then females who beat one guy will think they have bragging rights.
Also, if you don't agree with me on that point then you might on this point. If females start to play consoles online then younger females will, much like how you get 12 year old males on multiplayer games. If this does happen then I will feel sorry for the females, I will feel sorry for them anyway, here's why. Males feel superior over women and will talk down to them, if they are young females then paedophiles may start emerging and also young females, I'm just gonna say girls now, who play online will hear things they should not be hearing at their age.

Now of course these points vary depending on the game the female is playing for example if a girl is playing Call of Duty then maybe hearing 2 swear words a sentence from a 20 year old isn't the best whereas if a girl was playing something such as FIFA (where I think the community is more chilled) then it wouldn't be as bad.

Of course this is all my opinion and you really do not have to agree to any of these points as they are what I think and may not be the same as yours or similar to yours in anyway. Nor am I sexist or a guy who thinks he is more powerful than a female.

I just wanted to see what everyone's views and opinions were on this.
The last thing I want is an argument, if you have a different view than somebody then be nice if you are going to reply to them yeah? ;)
