Maybe Samuel was a conspiracy theorist before all of this happened. That would be why he keeps mentioning atlantis, bermuda triangle, aliens, and big foot. If this is true then maybe he thinks the government is coming after him, to shut him up. But really richtophen is making the zombies go after him because samuel knows a lot of top secret info. The zombies could have infected him, causing him to hear rictophen ,who is controlling him just like he does the zombies. Rictophen could use his knowledge to help with his evil scheme
