easy cap is only about $7 not the best quality but its fairly decent

The OP says he plays in HD, and there are guys here recommending the Easycap. :facepalm:

OP, I suggest you get a capture card that records in HD. They all have excellent quality, and the cheapest is the AverMedia Game Capture HD. It's 100 dollars on Amazon.com, but you're not going to get much cheaper than that.
