get a programe called ccleaner or crap cleaner. it lets you manage what you have starting up on the boot up of your computer, this will make your computer quicker and start quicker

it also gets rid if internet pop up downloads and cookies which slow your computer down

If it's a new computer you should be able to go into BIOS and change the fan speed.

ccleaner is rather handy for cleaning out multiple browser caches at once, but i always find the pre built in windows admin tools to do a better job and have better advanced options on managing startup programs and service as well as cleaning out error logs and cache files that are done within windows.
