For those of you who are my friend on this forum, you know that I haven't been online in a while. This is because I took a break from gaming, and after starting again, I love it. A couple of days ago, I looked into flashing my BenQ. I do have a desktop, but it doesn't have any available ports, let alone a free SATA port. I'm not looking to drop 100 for a new motherboard on my computer. All I have is a laptop, and I barely have anything on it. I only have 3 USB ports, an SD port, and an Ethernet port. I know for a fact that I can use my USB ports, but I'm not sure if I really want to spend $80 on a Xecuter that I'll probably use once. I also don't want to spend $80 on that Lizard contraption. That leaves the SD port. I'm not even sure that I can flash via the SD port. Does anyone have suggestions on what I should do?

unfortunately for laptops there not many options for you

if your not willing to spend the money to buy the flashing equipment then your better off getting someone else to flash it for you otherwise just spend the money.

the benefit to spending the money is that you can flash your DVD drive back to stock for major updates so you can make sure that you stay safe on Xbox live at all times.

feel free to pm me for more help

Thanks, that's what I figured for answers. I was just hoping that there was some awesome invention that would miraculously destroy my problems. I might as well buy the Xecuter. Now while we're on the subject of flashing, do I really need a specific LiteOn drive to burn my DVD's? My current one supports Dual Layer DVDs.

No & Yes they made a tool called Burnermax Payload which let you burn XGD3 games (those are the games that needed the specific ihas burner) that let you burn these games with compatiable drives, just download it or pm so i can transfer you it and check if ur drive is comptaibale if not you need to buy the ihas drive and flash it with burner max FIRMWIRE
