DeadlyDasher wrote I see that you're 14 years old. So dressing like a "total douche" most likely just means he was wearing designer cloths. And acting like he's a "true blood gangster" means he was probably just listening to rap music and you're over exaggerating it.

The point was, he wasn't even listening to music, just wearing to show them off.
And no, he wasn't dressed in hollister clothing. He had his pants down to his knees, and huge holes in his ears.
Pointing at everyone with his gang signs, acting like, "oh better what out I'mma be a thug!"
And what the hell, "I see that you're 14" are you going through my profile to think of a comeback?

By "going through your profile" do you mean clicking on your name and scrolling down once? If so, yes I am. Are you sure he wasn't point at girls like "Come here cutie" and had his earphones off so he could talk to them? And had his pants down to his knees to show the girls how big is penis is?

Yeah, I dont understand why people are willing to spend hundreds of dollars on headphones, when the can save hundreds of dollars and get decent sounding headphones, you can actually put in your pocket, and that pill thing, it looks dumb...

also people who make fun of stuff like beats should grow up. they should do more things than sit on their computer and talk **** about something they cant afford or just don't like. a lot of people like beats and a lot of people don't. people have their reasons. leave it at that instead of making topics and posts saying how beats suck and all that gay ****.

Your right, I can't afford them. But why would anyone want to purchase headphones that are so expensive? I would rather buy 20$ Skull Candy that last for 4 months and purchase surround sound to use at my house.
That way I can carry them everywhere without looking stupid and I have a nice system for my house.

It's my opinion that it looks like crap when you walk around with them on your neck. No where to put them? Backpack, car, etc.

If you saw someone carrying an umbrella that was multicolored and had spots, you would think it looked ridiculous if it was not supposed to rain, correct? That's how bulky headphones are, they just take up an unnecessary amount of space so the spoiled children of the 21st century can say they got overpriced headphones.

Do you think people with Beats give a **** if you think they look stupid? People probably do have a place to put them, but if you want to listen to music whenever you want, it's easier to have them around your neck so you can just put them up to your ear. I have skull candies and I tuck them into my shirt and let them hang out of my collar so I can easily put them in my ear or take them out.

And that analogy is the worst analogy I've ever heard. A person can't make it rain whenever they want(hold the money jokes children), but a person can play their music. Who cares if they take up unnecessary amount of space? It's their neck, not yours.

I don't give two ***** that they don't care what I think.
The point is, it's an eye sore. The analogy wasn't bad, it's you who analyzed it way to much. Of course to can't make it rain wherever you want, but the odd umbrella is still an eyesore that makes people wonder what the hell your thinking. Same with carrying around bulky headphones in locations that may not need them.
Like schools, a lot of schools won't even allow you to listen to music, what makes you think you can get away with putting beats on your head?
Leave them at home, in the car or in a locker. Simple.

I agree, there are certain instances where it's called for, but when it's used simply as a fashion statement, it's stupid. All your doing is bragging about an expensive pair of headphones.

Anyway, like I said, it's my opinion your welcome to wear whatever you want. But this is a rant section (right? or did they suddenly change the forum name?) and your allowed to rant about your opinion on certain subjects, if this really bothers your that much, message a staff member telling them you want to revoke the freedom of speech and/or make your own topic on how beats are useful to carry around everywhere and how stylish they are.
I sure as hell won't flame your opinions, but I may disagree.

Seeing beats on peoples neck make your eyes sore? You really need to go to a doctor and get that checked out. Carrying around bulky headphones on your neck is way more common then people who carry big bulky umbrellas when it's not raining.

Do you hate people who buy Lamborghini too? Because they're bragging about having an expensive car? And believe it or not, not everyone is in elementary school, middle school, or high school. In college I can wear my beats to my big classes(300+ people) and listen to them if I want to. Even in high school I was able to walk around with my cheap sony headphones. And if I happened to walk by someone who wanted to talk to me, I would put them around my neck, and once the conversation was done I would put them back on. Then there was a 98% chance I would run into someone who wanted to talk again. So would you suggest me to put them in my bag each time I'm talking to someone?

And no one is flaming you, I'm stating my opinion on your opinion. Stop being sensitive.

This rapper named Trinidad James has a mixtape called "Don't Be S.A.F.E" the SAFE standing for Sensitive As **** Everyday. I think he was talking about you when he made it.

First off, I'm not even close to being sensitive on this subject. If anything, your responding to everyone saying anything bad about beats.

Second, I never actually said everyone is in some sort of public school. I referenced the scenario to show that certain situations it's not called for.
Since your going to attack my one example, I'll put more.
1) You couldn't wear them to most jobs.
2) If you were a lawyer, doctor, etc. it wouldn't be allowed, it's unprofessional.
3) Wearing bulky headphones in a shower would be stupid, it could and most likely would cause damage. (Common sense, but still is a perfect example where it wouldn't fit.)
4) Wearing extremely large headphones while driving. It would be incredibly uncomfortable and probably wouldn't be a smart move. Yet again, it wouldn't really make sense anyway since most cars have somewhere else to store anything in general. (Not literally anything, but I feel like I should put this in here since you tend to take everything so literal)
5) To your marriage...How dumb would that look? I guess you could pull it off with enough money.
etc...

I'm not even in school anymore, I've moved to different areas and many different institutions have different rules.
Example: You can't bring a car to college if your a freshman, some colleges have this rule but not all.

Also, if someone would prefer to buy an expensive car, that's fine. They bought it and they can drive it. But that's different then purchasing headphones because of a brand and wearing them everywhere to use it as a fashion statement. Of course it's more common, but it doesn't make it okay.

Murder is more common in certain areas then others, but that doesn't make it right to kill someone. And yes they make my eye sore, my doctor is currently discussing it with me. It may be a new disease.

JiraiyaTheGallant wrote I seriously go to a random store a buy a 5$ pair of earphones (the ones that go in your ear, not around it). I am seriously happy with them. Easy to store, easy to replace, comfortable and I don't look like an ungrateful kid with rich parents. They last from 2 months to 9 months every time, and they're less than tenth of the cost of Beats.

You can get beats for $200, you don't need to have rich parents to buy them. I guess everyone on these forums with an Xbox, PS3, or Wii has rich parents too?

I have an Xbox. My family scraped together money for me for years and I got inheritance that was used to purchase mine.
I then purchased a replacement and I worked my ass off for it. You don't need rich parents to purchase beats, but it becomes ridiculous when it is you buying a 200$ set of earphones and using them as an accessory.

Why were you looking at his penis? It's kind of weird that you know the exact size of it. And if he was pointing to African American males maybe they were some of his fellow gang members and he was saying Hi, with gang signs.
