You don't need a capture card for recording on a pc. But if you mean rendering, aim for a computer that has a Quad core processor and at least 8 Gigs of RAM,

If you are just using it to record then no, it doesn't matter. But like i said before it will matter if you want to render those videos with good quality and at a somewhat fast rate.
