Okay so I have a X-box and it keeps saying Unreadable disk and doesn't get out of that screen. I got Far Cry 3 Brand New doesn't work says Unreadable and same with Black ops 2. But Mw2 it works fine. So I am thinking about sending it in for a repair but I opened my x-box a little. I only took off the face panel and the opposite site of the hardrive off. I want to know if I put those 2 peices back would I still be able to send it in for a repair or can I not due to me opening it up a little bit.

this happened to me before the reason why this is saying disc unreadable is because
you either need a new disc tray or your disc tray is dirty and if you send it in for
repair make sure you put the pieces together or they will say you damaged it yourself

As long as you didn't break the warranty sticker you're good. It sounds like a bad dvd drive.

You must have a phat console in which case the sticker will be right above the power button under neath the faceplate. I think there is also another silver sticker that keeps the dvd drive stuck to the metal casing inside, (which you'd have to completely open the console to access, so you're fine).

Yes, as long as it's in tact they should be able to repair it for you. It's no big deal at all to remove the faceplate or anything else, but will be a problem if you break that sticker and open the shell up.

Okay so I plan to just send it in and hope for the best. Thanks Man you really helped out a lot now I feel a lot safer sending it in.
