Okay so when i opened up my CPU to upgrade it I found a weird spot. Is it bent or is it normal. Also is this a reason I'm getting no signal. My heatsink goes on. My fans go on. Also when I try to connect my dvi cable to hdmi cable to monitor nothing happens. (I tested it from my graphic card and motherboard) I even put it on a anti static bag. I did that because I thought it was grinding. I tested my ram. Nothing happened. Is my ram, power supply, or motherboard broke. Also like I mentioned about my socket my CPU pins are fine. I also tried it on a old monitor, a tv, and a monitor. Thank you for helping.

What do you mean by a weird spot? Can we see a picture?

Also is this a reason I'm getting no signal.

Do you mean no signal to your screen?

What is the actual problem here? Is nothing showing up on your screen at all?
Do you know the make and model of your motherboard and your other components? As many as possible will help.

Check the 4pin/8pin connector near your processor is plugged in, this is a common mistake that a lot of people miss out when doing their first build.

No signal on screen I have
Nothing shows up. I have a evga superclocked 660, i3 3220, 16 gb of ram, h77ma-g43 motherboard (MSI), antec 80 plus 500 watts model BP5004.
Notes- I had the 4 pin connected to power the CPU. I also have a 20 pin power supply (forgot what it's called) it only has 19 pins 1 missing which is normal. To get 24 it needs a extra 4 pin.
Edit-
The weird spot is not there anymore.

If my you mean putting it on top of a anti static bag and connecting everything I already did. I connected CPU and ram already. Everything goes on forever untill I turn it off. Then I connect my graphic card and it still stays on forever.
Edit- but still doesn't power the monitor..
