Hey guys,

Do any of you own a Macbook Pro Aluminium? If so, what sorts of Wear & Tear does yours currently have? Have you ever had an accident with your MBP? Or even dropped/broken it? Here's my story:

So, I was laying in bed as you do. I fell asleep, and the MacBook fell down the side of my bed. I thought 'oh shxt' and prepared for the worst whenever I went to pick it up. So I went ahead, picked it up, and there were 2 white scuffs which were very noticeable on the roof/lid of the MacBook. My eyes hurt. I couldn't bare to think that this damn thing, over a grand, had been ruined/scratched up. So I then decided to scratch the scuffs, to find it was just paintwork from my wall. I successfully managed to remove them with a few careful scratches of my short nails. I then found to have scuffs on the corner of which it fell on. Nothing major, just general wear and tear if you ask me. Anyways, it was pretty bad. Imagine just hearing that crash of a grand's worth of kit down the side of your bed. Not good at all.

So my MacBook is no longer in perfect condition, sadly. It's nothing noticeable, but as you Apple fans probably know, you seem to get a slight form of OCD whenever you purchase a new product of theirs. You are constantly scanning for scratches, etc etc. If you finally see it has some wear and tear, you really tend not to card so much anymore and you actually use it for what it's made to do instead of looking at it as a fashionable product.

Anyways, feel free to share your stories. I am genuinely intrigued.

Thank you guys, happy holidays also.

My school gives us 2012 Mac Book Pros. Myn has been dropped once or twice and everything seems to stay intact. In my opinion I would say that they scratch easily.
