Why would anything more intelligent than humans come to Earth?

Earth is a glistening gem of life and motion in a sea of dead rock drifting through space.

This planet is the perfect place for life to blossom and live.
Half way through our suns cycle, relatively safe from a whole host of threats, an abundance of natural resources and a 7 Billion man slave labor force just waiting to be chained.

Earth is the perfect target for any malicious alien race.
