I think a "default" avatar would be cool.
For example when someone makes an account, their avatar is automatically set to something, such as the TTG logo. This way, no one has a blank avatar, and people who want to change it are still able to do so.

There are so many things wrong with what you said in this paragraph that I won't even bother to highlight the important parts because you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
1. I myself joined the site yesterday so I don't have any rep for that reason alone, not because I don't currently have an avatar. And reputation honestly means nothing. For example, say one member has 200 rep but also has 100 useful posts and 400 unuseful posts. Another member has 100 rep but has 400 useful posts and 100 unuseful posts. Personally I think that the member with less rep but more useful posts has contributed to the site more than the person with more rep but less useful posts.
2. I've been having a lot of problems with my new computer and find that many sites are not compatible. So at the moment I can not make my own work. I am not going to have someone else work displayed on my profile because I like to make my own things. That's just how I am.
3. You can't judge me because the majority of people who post fake lobbies do not take the time to change their avatar [Shout out to those people, you probably should].
4. Not trying to start anything but you yourself have very few reputation. I realize that I have said it is just a number but I am trying to prove a point. And you also have 544 posts yet only 38 members have found any of them useful.

It's an avatar! Really? Your going to complain that someone doesn't have a picture... It's not that big of a deal.

Had my avatar since day one I still like it I've never had a problem with anyone who didn't have a avatar unless they are a rookie then I won't trust them.

What annoys me is too see a member whom has been here 3 years; only managed 500 posts. Commitment at it's finest!
