Wow, that's a real specific description you have there :sarcasm:. What processor and graphics card does it have? Also, what type of games would you like to play? The newest games, or slightly older ones?

Also, to the person above me, WTF are you talking about? Dual-core CPUs are fine for gaming, and the CPU does not matter much when it comes to gaming. For gaming, the GPU is the most important thing.

Not only that..But he would literally have to have a money tree to buy a gaming laptop. Simple ones are like 1,000 and that's to run slightly older games. If you want to run anything like BF3 on medium, it's like 2-3 thousand.

Laptops are not made for gaming. Their made for portable use to quickly browse the web or email someone. You can play games on them, but it will take a lot out of it.

As for your laptop, the person above is correct. You'll need to give us more informatation before we can tell you what games you can play. But my guess is: Minecraft at a decent setting and you'll still have some lag.

Even IF you upgrade it, you still won't be able to upgrade the GPU which is a major necessity. Your motherboard likely only accepts a small amount of CPUs so even if you upgrade it, the performance change will be slim. Pretty much what I'm trying to say is that no, you laptop is NOT good for gaming even with upgrades.

Let me ask you this. Where do you primarily use your laptop? Do you ever take it outside your home? If not or you rarely do, go for a DESKTOP. They are easily upgradable and you'll never have to face the issue that your PC is slow because you can't upgrade it's hardware. It'll save you money in the long run anyways. $2500 for a laptop which'll be outdated in 5 or so years is insane. $1000 for a desktop which'll play most to all games on max settings and is easily upgradeable at any given time is a way better idea isn't it?
