Yea everyone thats right a new minecraft update is coming out, no release date is confirmed, but heres a list of new things they're adding

Animal Breeding
Potion Brewing
Experience Points
Enchantment Table
Mushroom Biome
Nether Fortress
New Tutorial World
Villagers
Mooshrooms
Blaze
Snow Golems
Magma Cubes
Baby Animals
