So my friend bought a Jasper Jtag and he tried putting xexmenu on it and it said corrupted and he thought it was fake so he sold it to me, but im sure it's real because it has thee right psu and a built in 512mb unit, but i dont know how to use it correctly, i'v tried turning it on by holding the eject button by going into xell mode but that doesnt work. please help

The 512 MB is built into most Xbox's
Your friend just bought a retail console if XEX Menu said it was corrupted when he tryed to add it in and XELL did't boot when you pressed the eject button, You could try to burn an iso to see if the drive is flashed, It may of been a Jtag but your friend might of connected it to xbox live then updated it (Taking the Jtag part out of it)
Also its a most likley a Jasper RGH

Try and burn Xell as a ISO to a compatible disk and boot it that way.
