Who, in your honest opinion, is the most overrated team in sports? Please state why.

The New York Jets.

A team whose history is no richer than 70% of the NFL's teams and certainly not considered a NFL dynasty by any standards, the Jets every year have Superbowl hopes but fail to deliver constantly. Meanwhile, a couple miles away from them are the New York Giants, a team that comes out almost every year and squeaks into the playoffs as a wildcard and has taken home multiple Lombardi Trophies in the last 4 years. No one hypes them, no one guarantees anything, they just do it. Then we head over to the other side of town again. All the Jets fans are all stuck in their own little fantasies hoping one day will be the Jet's day and that they are SB contenders EVERY single year. People need to pull their heads out of their asses and realize the winning is going on on the other side.

The Jets are not overrated this year.

Just about anyone you ask will agree they are straight trash.

The Cowboys are overrated I agree with that.

Alabama is also extremely overrated this year in college football.

Miami Heat.
As soon as they got LeBron, Wade, and Bosh everyone seemed to like them. Just because they are good. Get real!

Notre Dame, even thought the schedule they have played is pretty decent the only real championship caliber team they played is Florida, and they almost lost to unranked Pitt and if they played Alabama it would be lopsided in my opinion

Florida St., Notre Dame, and Oregon. Both teams play garbage schedules and they always lose to crap teams.

LONG ASS POST COMING UP HERE

Going sport by sport here (with explanations)

NCAA Football: Alabama Crimson Tide, because they have been ranked for 3 years straight, having the easiest schedule in the world, and everyone thinks they're some godlike football team.

NCAA Basketball: Louisville, because, just like Alabama, had an easy schedule. People don't look at schedules and just base the rankings on how they play against terrible teams and how hard they beat them. I mean they just lost to Duke when they were seeded 3 spots lower than them.

NFL: Cowboys, because they have such a large legacy in sports, and everyone thinks some big shot team that WAS good, will STAY good. Just because they have Miles Austin and Jason Witten, doesn't make them an amazing team.

MLB: Yankees, because of the same reason everyone thinks the Cowboys are good. WOAH, Derek Jeter is SOOOO GOOD. Same with A-Rod, YEAH, you see him bat lately? That guy is unstoppable! /sarcasm

NBA: Lakers or Knicks, because:

1: the Knicks started off undefeated for 6 games. They only beat one good team; Miami. And they won every game by no more than 5 points. That doesn't make them much better than anyone else in their conference. Gonna be funny when they get knocked off the boards by the Celtics, Bulls, or Miami in the 1st round of the playoffs.

2: the Lakers because of Steve Nash, Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol, MWP, Mike D'Antoni, Mike Brown, Steve Blake, and last but not least: the iconic Kobe Bryant. Everyone thought they could just stroll their way into the Finals. Then they started off their season 1-4. People don't take into account that Nash is, what, 38 now? 39? The point is is that he is old and washed up. He can't compete with Rondo, Rose, Williams, Westbrook, etc. Same with Kobe. He is in his 17th season. I think 5 rings is enough. You aren't gonna surpass Jordan...nobody will. Just retire. Dwight Howard is basically carrying the team...and they STILL can't win! MWP is just as overrated as the team is. Pau Gasol is just there to get dunked on. Steve Blake is like a white MWP. The coaching is just terrible. They have ZERO team chemistry. Enough said...overrated.

P.S. Kobe is an amazing ball player. I'm giving no hate against him. I'm just stating facts like anyone else would. He has my full respect.

(sorry for the long post)
