To all members that are new to Forum,

I suggest you read this guide to learn about scammers, how to avoid scammers, and how to detect if you are being scammed.

First off, what exactly is scamming for all who don't know? Scamming is when you pay for something online and the person doesn't follow through with the transaction and keeps your money/offerings. Scamming is a common thing and is taken very seriously, especially on TTG.

Here is a friendly list of how to avoid being scammed:
1.) Check to see that his price is valid. If what he's selling is $75 less than it is everywhere else, its most likely not a good deal and that it is a rip off.
2.) Look over the seller's profile. If they are not a trusted seller, then make sure that they have sustantial proof that they will not rip you off. For example, make sure they have at least a few hundred posts, make sure that lots of people vouch for him and claim that he is legit. If the seller is a Gold Member, then they will most likely not scam you because if they're paying for a membership, they're not going to want to have to get banned.
3.) Make sure that the payment option is what you're comfortable with. If the person is asking for credit card numbers and you don't feel safe, THEN DONT DO IT!
4.) Stay in contact with the seller until you receive your item. If the person avoids talking to you or doesn't know what he's talking about, Don't Do It.

Lastly, if you're not sure if you've been banned and its a questionable case, then read some of the helpful tips below.
Ask about the shipping and make sure he has a good answer because if he has no idea what to do about the shipping or his answer is not correct, than he is trying to scam you and you should not go through with your purchase

    Report the seller immediately!

Most of this is common sense and I shouldn't have to write this but I've seen a lot of stupid people on here. Please sticky this so people can avoid having their money stolen.

I bought from a member that has lots of vouches from trusted sellers, had a shop, has been here for over a year, has over 1000 posts, and has good reputation. He has been active on the site the past couple days, has read my PM's and has not responded to my question on whether he has shipped out the RGH I paid for on Monday night.

I've been trying to avoid name dropping but since you asked, Extreme-Mods, and I've checked my Paypal every day since Tuesday but there hasn't been any tracking info. -_-

No gift payment. I saw that he had people like ChromeModz and RodentModz saying he was legit in a sell thread so I went for it.
