ok guys my rant is about people who don't bother going onto peoples channel just because of there username.
I mean its just a username not something important because my YT channel name is spider988
and i created that account when i was 12 so thats why its called that but people will think that because my name is spider988 they will think i have loads of spider videos which i don't most of my videos are thunderstorm and cloud vidoes (because thats my interests)and in my opinion i think they are good (apart from my horrible voice ) other then that i think they are good but people aren't going on my channel because of my username and i've been on YT for 4 years and have over 100 videos but only 6.908 views and thats basically me hosting lobbies.
so im just woundering do you guys find it annoying that people won't go on your channel just because on your username?

Pretty common tbh. If someone has a channel name about cod we're going to expect cod videos instead of biking videos or whatever.

yeah i would too but its too late for me now because i have posted too many videos on that channel and its going to take days to upload every single video on a new channel wish you could change your name on youtube

I do think it is annoying, but that is why I normally aim for a good youtube username that is very general. Normally if the name is like "wetrickshot4days" I don't click on it because its normally just cocky trickshotters.

I believe its fair. For example think of companies. If your car was to break down and there were two stores near by. One was "JaYzzz Autooo Reparz" and the other was "Automotive Professional Car Care & Repair" Which would you rather go to? Just like YouTube. Someone with a more easily accessible and easy to look up will be the better option. If you want views, make a new channel with a better username and make it an attention grabber. sitting here ranting about is not going to get you more view.

I think it's because when people look at channel's they don't wanna see numbers or lowercase letters because for me that shows that it's a younger kid.
