Hello all,

I have a little issue with the amount of storage space I can have on my external USB hard drive which I use to store my jtag games. As it stands now, you can only allocated 32GB worth of data on your USB drive. This mean I can only have about 5-6 games on my HD at anytime, even though it is a 500GB portable hard drive. When I configure my HD in the system settings, it only allows for this amount. Is there a way to increase the size? I would like to store all of my jtag games on my HD for ease of use. I don't want to have to inject and delete games everyday if I want to play something else. It seems like a waste of space/money buying a large portable hard drive, and only being able to store 32GB worth of games on it.

I'm still new to the jtag scene, I just got mine a couple weeks ago. I can't find anything in the search function that can help me. If anyone could give me some pointers on how I can have all my games together at once, that would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

So is the problem that it will literally not allow you to allocate more than 32 gb? I had a similar issue with my external hard drive where it would only allow me to allocate about 350 gb out of 500 gb on my computer. It was a western digital drive, I went onto their site and got a tool specific to my drive and it finally allowed me to allocate to the full 500 gb. Maybe try something like that?

Do not format your hard drive to the xbox to put games on it.
It needs to be formatted to FAT32.
Just plug it up to your computer, right click, format, Fat32.

Use XeXMenu to put games on it and play the games.

(BTW this is only for non XBLIG and XBLA games)

Thanks, I will try that with the XBLA games. However, I am trying to get all my full version games on my HD first.

And thanks Eaton, that looks like the solution I need. I will try that tonight.

No, XBLA games and Indie games have to be on a hard drive that IS formatted to the xbox.
I said it was for NON XBLIG and XBLA games.
