Here is a bit of a background of what gave me this idea - I have been in two clans in the original black ops.

One of these clans(FST) had a ranking system. The ranking system was based on recruiting folk and also playing good as a team. This was fine at first but as the clan grew more and more the 2 folk that could rank someone up couldnt be bothered as there was to many members to keep track of. The clan soon fell apart...

I now play in a clan(Pr0). This is a clan that has no ranking system. Its all about playing well as a team and helping each other out. This clan works well, its not to big. The only problem being is that there is nothing to work for as you are not getting ranked up.

I'm at college just now doing software development.

So im going to make a clan management program. The program will assist in the running of the clan.

What are fair rules for a clan?

What are fair ranking rules?

What are good requirements for entering the clan?
