At first I thought this was just their way of making me pay the most upfront, because the hardened edition was only 20 bucks more than the original plain disc. So I asked to speak with the manager and he said the same thing. I called around other gamestops and they all said the same thing. Which I think is bs. So I left gamestop putting 120 dollars down on the game +the season pass. Still quite pissed about that.

woah im lucky i got got mine a while back.

All GameStops are done with that, I'm in the same situation as you, but with Halo 4 Limited Edition. The only thing you can do is put yourself on a waiting list and when you go to pick up the game, hope someone canceled their pre-order for the Hardened Edition.

I found this out back in Black Ops 1.
I always pre-order at least 3 months in advance.
