AxeFighter wrote what does flashing a nand do and i thing i heard something like dumping a nand ,idk can people explain what these things do/are

you dont need to know unless your jtagging a console but basically its like bunch of files combined into a big file and your xbox boots from it. Sort of a OS for the xbox.

Mafia what's your opinion are slims garbage like DLX says? Do they all have bad boot times or is that only when a amateur with no experience attempts to RGH???

I have a jasper dual nand and a slim dual nand, and I prefer my slims, what's your preference?

a nand is the image that the Xbox reads from kinda like a windows operating system it tells the Xbox how to operate and boot and what to do and how to do it basically its the heart of the Xbox!

and my opinion on rgh slims or phats are the phats there cheaper and easier to solder and the best boot time i have found are on falcons i have done 3 and they have had a boot time of 3 secs or almost instantly. i have a personal jasper 256mb and it boots in almost 6-10 secs just depends how it feels lol!!
