I understand this is a gaming forum, but since you can post for help in just about any topic on this site, I figured why not ask you guys, also since i have no other place to go. If you arent going to seriously answer. please leave. If there is a place for this post that i couldn't find, please let me know
I'm a freshman in hs.
5ft 3 in
95 lbs
I am projected to be 5ft11-6ft 1 at my senior year.(nocluehowthatsgunnahappen)
I have a decent abs/core with a 6 pack, although it is kindof faint.
I am pretty quick and agile, although I don't have a great endurance. I feel like one out of 20 days, I can actually run my fastest. not sure if im just tired from school and only getting 5-7 hours of sleep, or if i lost my speed, or if i have a vitamin defenciency or something. I play basketball and tennis but my size weighs me down in bball (my fav sport). any workout tips or anything that can guide me in the right direction?
Is it too early to lift?

Lifting isn't the right way to go right now as you're still growing. Pushups/ and or pullups would be the best thing to do. Pushups workout out MANY different muscles in your body biceps, triceps, chest, wrist, etc. Find a nice starting point, do them in sets like sets of 5, 10, 15, whatever your level is really and go from there. GIVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TIME TO REST, this is just as important as the actual exercise itself as it allows your muscle fibers to rebuild stronger than they were before, but DO NOT do them everyday, do them 4 times a week or every other day. If you still want help pm me.

Monday & Thursday-
5 sets of 50 push ups
5 sets of 50 sit ups
Alternate between the two, doing one set of each back and forth until completed. Do them as fast as you can. You have a six pack do I would assume that wouldnt be to hard of your in shape.
Then I usually hit the bench press after starting with light weights working my way up to my max, then going back down in weights each set.

Tuesday & Friday-
I do curls with a 30 pound weight on each arm, start at 16 do three sets of 16 on each arm, then three sets of 14 on each arm and continue to go down two reps for every three sets you do. After a couple weeks go buy a 35 pound dumbbell and so on and so forth, always breaking through the plateaus and continueing to build muscle.

Wednesday- Walk three miles, I heard somewhere it's better to walk then run if you want to pack on muscle weight. Something about running burns the fat instead of storing it for the muscles when lifting. Idk you'll have to look into that one.

That's what I do, not for looks but to stay in shape so I don't hurt myself when I'm working.

Did you just post your workout? That's great and all but you need to remember that he's probably not on the same level as you...
