1. Choose your map seed.
2. Make it creative mode
3. Remember the spot you spawn at and fly around to find one near by.
4. Once found, remember location and quit and DO NOT SAVE
5. Make new map on survival and re-type seed and go find that strong hold!

Strong holds are underground those are villages you are talking about.
