Ok, so at the end of The Thursday War, Jul Mdama has found a portal, he believes will lead him to the Didact, and that is where the story is left... Now, if in the game, MC finds him and kills him, does that mean that the story in the next book has been smashed to pieces? Or are the random Elites the ones from the planet he finds, and he is somewhere on the planet? (This would also ruin the story in my opinion, as I didn't enjoy the novel versions of the original games, as much as I enjoyed the original content stories)

Or, given the fact that the Forerunners are so advanced, should we believe that the Didact did not die when he fell, but instead teleported, or whatever else...
