Okay, so one day my fans gave out, I took apart my Xbox thinking dust and cleaned it out, no luck, fans choose not to move, everything else works like a charm. so I order new fans, dont work, I think maybe just a bad two, so I order Talismoon fans, no go. I did some simple research and I think the circuit to my fans or something just doesn't work. I have a barely working annoying as hell inter cooler but sense my Xbox is taken apart for iso they don't do anything.(b/c the fans cant go completely on without case so they don't have the suction they need.) I have a like 12in fan and pointed it toward it, the fan was not cutting it, Xbox still overheating. I have the Xbox vertical and the fan sucking the air out of it, thought I hate it like that b/c the disc drive can fall out, the Xbox is unstable and the disc can fall out also I have to move the Xbox around to hot swap..

What are my choices? do you guys need a vid? the fans go on for 1/10th a second at the start of turn on but then stop. Can I hook up them to like USB somehow? What acn I do guys?

thanks +rep

Sounds like fault power supply :/ one thing you could do is get a multimeter and find a 12v supply in the board or use a cable from the disc drive, which I use to power my LEDs (Uses 12v).

If you are still having problems PM me and if I get a chance I could skype you

I had a falcon with this and it got me really confused i had never seen or read about this before.I fixed it by cutting the end off the fans where it would plug into the motherboard and soldering the red and brown ones to 12v points on the motherboard and soldering the black and blue ones to grounds on the motherboard as long as you dont mind having your fans on full all the time then that is how you fix it
