make a 25x25 room on bedrock with lots of torches or make a 50x50-works best, with torches (no glowstone or lava only torches work the best)

You first need to find a slime chunk in your world using this site right here.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

After that you put in your X and Z coordinates and locate a green square you find on the graph. Once you've found that green square you want to start going to its X and Z coordinates given to you on the graph. When you are at the specified coordinates you dig down until you are below Y: 16 and start making a 16x16x3 area around the those coordinates given to you on the graph.

If you have any further questions or you're stuck then PM me and I'll be glad to help you out.

Actually that is completly wrong and I will state what is wrong with it.
1st: Slimes are only able to spawn on opaque blocks and Glowstone is one of them so Glowstone is actually what works best for spawning slimes not torches.
2nd: Making and 25x25 or even a 50x50 area isn't going to do any good as a slime chunk is only 16x16 and are only able to spawn in that area.
3rd: Slimes can spawn anywhere below layer 16 so making a slime farm on bedrock isn't going to help you in any way.

Well bedrock is level 2 which is below 16 so it would do some good. Stop flaming my post just because you think you are right we are both right but the problem with glowstone is that it spawns other monsters such as zombies and skeletons. I use a 50x50 because how many times does 16 go into 50 thats right its a lot so you would get more slime chances because if you are in a lage slime spawn spt you may want to get them all

First I wasn't flaming at all I was just correcting you so the OP doesn't get the wrong info. Second, mobs don't spawn on light and what does Glowstone give that's right light so they wouldn't be able to spawn. Thrird, making a 50x50 farm is unnecessary if you're uncertain there are 3 slime chunk right next to each other which is rare when you come to those. Last bedrock is layer 3 btw.

get/make a map look at the coordinates (eg x = 80 z = -32 just get your map out and look for x:80 and z-32 not hard
