Hi I just purchased a xzbox slim online which turned out to be a corona board I have been reading posts and got bit confused since som,e sites instructions are upto date and when I search just get different answ2ers so thjought the best bet is to ask the people who know what they are talkin about I have done a couple jtags before and glitched a jasper so nopt total noob at this just not sure which way to go with this one.
I would like to rgh my corona mobo, I have purchased as follows
1 qsb slim v2
1 slim post qsb
1 CR v3
1 Corona QSB CR Upgrade
I already have a nand x and the cables I got the slim v2 qsb before I noticed the corona upgrade, can I do the job with what I have and the bit that is confusin me is I have seen in some discussions about changing it from 4gb to 16mb or do you not need to do that now? plz help

Link above shows you how to retrieve the nand off a 4 gb Corona v2 without having to swap out the 4 gb nand with a 16 mb one. However I know Maximus has a product out right now that makes this a little easier, and TX is going to release theirs within the next couple weeks, so it's up to you. The only issue with the 4 gb coronas was that up until just a little while ago there was no way to dump the nand.

thanks got the link. so basically it's only for reading and writing the nand I should use a sd card reader then just wire up the coolrunner the same as for other versions of the corona. Am I correct or do I need to do anything else or purchase anything else for this?

Nope, what you said is correct. The sd card is only for reading/writing and everything else is the same as the 16 mb coronas

Looks like you have alot of reading to do, 4GB corona's and 250gb coronas can be glitched.
the 4gb models require a SD card reader you can buy TX's new Add on if you have that if not then just keep on reading around and you will find that the other models can be glitched with a 48Mhz Crystal for STB_CLK.

Just a heads up, There is 2 types of corona mobos.
You got the regular, and then you got the 4gb which is a killer to glitch.

ok kl thanks guy's I'm gonna atempt to make diy sd card reader for it and see how that goes I have ordered an official tx one from mrmodchips but I can't wait any longer so gonna give it a bash myself got everything else here that I need so might aswell will let you's know how I get on and thanks again
