I first got World of Warcraft around 7 years ago. I have the regular edition and the Burning Crusade. If I were to enter the game key onto my profile, will I still be starter?
Also, if you don't pay for a month, do you revert to starter, or are you unable to play?

If you do not pay for the monthly fee, it will do one of the following
A) With burning crusade purchased, it wont let you play at all
B) Nothing purchased, make you a starter

So with expansions installed and I run out of game time, I won't even be able to start a starter account character to play on? My account is weird, my BattleNet account has two accounts connected to it. One named Wow1, which came with the BattleNet account, and one of my accounts that is from 7 years ago.

Mine has a Wow1 and Wow 2 also.
Wow1 is a starter account but wow2 is my paid.
Im not 100% sure what will happen if you run out of game time, but i'd say it wont let you even log into a character that is over level 20.
