So today I called verizon and I'm getting my 7th iPhone on my 2 year contract. 7th!!!!! I have had an otterbox since day one and yet my lock button stopped worked 7 times. I'm probably switching to a droid when I get my upgrade in December! But that is my little rant. You think that Apple would make better quality stuff if we're paying $500 for a phone.

Using a jailbroken iPhone 4s for 1-2 years and not a single problem yet.
Only thing I hate are the charging cables.. Overheat too easy + Way too short.

Unlocked, the price for an iPhone 5 is around $700-$1000.
