I seldom have Night Terrors. When I do get them, It feels like a really bad dream. It feels so incredibly real, that when I wake up from it, My heart is beating abnormally fast. Haven't got one in years though.

They are fairly common for the most part... Even though I haven't had one in a while.

if you dont like what your dreaming about, then what you have to do is to physically do something or be someplace you want to dream about for about 2-3 hours before going to bed. i have alot of success with this. prime example is that i usually play video games for about 2-3 hours before bed, and about 85% of the time i'll have dreams where im in the place of the character im playing as, and doing the actions as well, though usually the actions are spinoffs of what my mind perceives them as.
