What are your guys thoughts on this?

Personally I think it is a good idea because of all of this racism stuff, he has been cleared by a court but yet the FA still go on with it in my opinion they are treating him very bad also he is getting older and slower now and is starting to get easier to be beaten, he is still a very good defender and puts everything he's got in to the game when he plays but it's about time we had a change.

But still, he is very good at defense, and better than a lot of the players. I think England might suffer. Just my opinion though.

I did say he is still a good defender
he is still a very good defender

I don't think we will suffer as much as people think, we still have Lescott, Cahill, Jagielka, Dawson (even though he's not playing for spurs atm) plus we have a couple of good young centre backs coming through like Smalling and Jones.

Yes I think his time is up unfortunately. He's been great for his nation and his club, the racism case was way overdone. Soon, he'll be leaving Chelsea, he's just not as good as he used to be. It's a sad fact but it happens to everyone eventually.
