Hello, i have a old xbox 360. it has a 2.0.7363.0 dashboard. i tried updating by internet but it gave me an error and said to check connection. so i tried by game disk. i used a perfectly clean Modern Warfare 3 and it said error and disk unreadable. then i downloaded the system update and put onto my usb. i plugged the usb in and it said to restart and then asked to update. i click yes update and then it gave an error. it said it failed to update and that i should check xbox.com/support. can someone help me with this?? i just want to play xbox live. i have update many xboxes in my life and i have done so with all three methods. dont say "google is your friend" cuz google has not been a good friend to me lately. i have been to xbox.com/support, no help.

lol no im just gonna flash it. dont need a jtag anymore. gone thru two jtags already and not reallly that much fun. hate dealing with trying to get a kv

I had a xenon with the first dash ever not to long ago...and I needed a retail at the time not a jtag...
Honestly I do not know how to fix the problem when I updated mine it gave me the same error about 8 times then the console RROD on me...let it sit for a while it booted back up tried the update 2 more times and it finally worked...
It mite depend on the time of day...not sure sorry bud

oh, well i tried like 20+ times so far. ima try again tomorrow. oh and i also tried three different dash updates (USB flash drive method. i had older updates from b4).

tried everything, this stupid xbox wont update. dont wanna sell on ebay. ebay and paypal takes too much out of it. i got it for $40 so idunno what i can sell it for.
