Ok soa friend recently let me borrow a External Hard drive [Maxtor].
And he said his buddy who had it before him said he had it formatted on a apple mac or something apple. And now im trying to use it on my windows computer so i can open it and take a look at it its size and etc.. so i can use it for my jtag.
1. This is what it looks like.
2. When i go to "My Computer" it doesnt pop up.
3.I have to manually go to Control Panel> Hardware and Sound > printer and devices. I have to do this to even see that its connected to my pc.

you need to right click on the hard drive and format it to fat 32, and if it still dont work, format it to the other option (fat 16 i think?)

right click then format it and just try the two settings hope i helped

well i right clicked it only options i get are: eject,propties, troubleshoot. Trouble shoot didnt do anything.

like i said its not showing up in the My computer part and i think you guys thought it was, i have to do step 3 to even see that my computer recoginzes it.
