Hey guys i have just got Armored Kill today and have been playing around with the AC-130 Gunship. It seems to be Extremely under-powered on Xbox at-least. literally i spawn in it and get like 1 kill and within 30 seconds its shot down by jets and Stingers and anti air and all this crap, what is the point of the AC-130 if it is completely useless?

on Rush its very OP cause the other team can only shoot down with stingers. make sure your on the big cannon also.

its underpowered on CQ, Especially the 105mm cannon.

U gotta understand, it has a helicopter auto cannon, 2 aa guns and a large cannon, it's overpowered if it can't get shot down, and the thing melts buildings, if it couldn't get shot down it would destroy the whole game

the point of the AC-130 in Battlefield isnt too dominate everything and leave the other team fu**ed...also you gotta understand these maps were MADE for PC so your not even gonna have that good of a time of xbox anyway

OMG can you say flame war? Yea but seriously in Rush Game Mode that Gunship is so OP it's not even funny. I was in a game earlier and I died by the guy in it 8 times in a row because of how we spawned and what not

Yeah but even on rush the thing gets nailed instantly by Stingers, plus no one uses flares and its just all bad.

Also with the people on the ground, well that's another story

well I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed that the splash damage isn't there, but it's all to make it balanced.

I have not gotten a kill with one yet and been in it about 3 times lol. I wouldn't say they are underpowered just very easy to take down.
