I thought I would share this Project by Scott Jones with you. It looks pretty good in my opinion and from what I read on the site I found out about it from ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) it sounds pretty good too!

Project "SMNS" or Social Media & Networking Software is a projected designed to build cheap but powerful software that will give everyone the tools to setup their own social media or network site. The software is designed for Artists, Film Makers, Designers, Developers and Gamers, enabling them to build community websites based on sharing content & media.
