I have come up with a bit of info which of what I think is the new Kinect (PC edition).
I came across this video on Intel's channel of them demoing something which would appear to be some sort of Kinect like device for the PC.
Next was an article which shows the same thing and explains way more.

This leads me to believe that Microsoft is in no plans to make an actual working Kinect for Windows 8. If they were, the company who created this would be wasting a load of money since Microsoft would probably outsell them. What are your thoughts?
