4JStudios have tweeted about the new update finally today! this is what they said "We're still working on 1.8.2. A few things left to add, more work on the Creative Mode interface" they also added that they are "still weeks away" but a few weeks ago they said "Many weeks away" so we should see it very soon! here is a link to the post - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] if you have any questions feeel free to ask.
